As long as you own the property and it is currently occupied i.e. not under renovation, you should qualify for a Free Boiler and Insulation Grant. If you do not qualify, we can still arrange for an approved installer to provide you with a quotation for the work.
My ECO Grant does not have to be paid back. As long as you qualify, an installer will complete the work then claim the grant to cover the cost of the work.
The grants are part of the Energy Companies Obligation (ECO). Under ECO, Energy Suppliers including British Gas, E.ON, Npower, Scottish Power, SSE and EDF are obliged to pay for insulation in domestic households.
